Hi! I’m Rebecca!
I am a journalistic style wedding photographer located in Northern Colorado! Outside of photography, I am a momma to two beautiful baby girls and married to a sweet man named Andrew!
I have been taking photos since I was about 13, when I used to sneak away with my dads dinosaur of a camera and photograph hundreds of photos of my childhood dog and of course all the flowers in the garden. As I got into high school, I quickly fell in love with journalism and decided that was what I wanted to do with my life! I went to the Isaacson School for Digital Media at the Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Co and built a whole portfolio of journalism work and I REFUSED to be a portrait photographer. (Jokes on me LOL). Fast forward a few years and I got the opportunity to make some money second shooting a wedding- and I was hooked!!! I truly love love and getting to be a part of some of your biggest life moments is such an honor to me. Not only will I be there to support you as your photographer- but I will also be your go to girl for whatever you need and most importantly, a friend.
a little about me.
1. My family means the world to me! When I am not taking pictures of my amazing clients- I am taking ENTIRELY too many photos of my family. Seriously, I have so many photos of my kiddos (and yes I am that mom that will show you pictures of them if you ask lol). To me, these moments are so fleeting and I want to document as much as I can. Once these moments end, photos are the only tangible thing that you will have at the end of the day. That is why photography is so important to me.
2. My main love language is quality time! I love getting to go and do things with my family and friends and those moments and adventures are what feed my soul. I love getting out in nature and seeing all of the beautiful flowers, the crashing waves at the beach, and smelling the fresh air and taking it all in- especially with my babies. But you can also catch me hanging at home with my mans, watching Netflix and enjoying some bomb food or having a fun dance party with my dancing queen daughter. As long as I am with the people I love, I am a happy girl!
3. Some of my go to’s and must haves in my life are flowers. flowers and more flowers… lol okay thats extreme but I really do love flowers (and if I wasn’t a photographer- I think being a florist would have been my next stop).
Some OTHER favorites of mine are the shows New Girl, Jane the Virgin and Grey’s Anatomy. You can catch me always wearing vans- even in a snow storm lol. I love Mod Pizza, Chick Fil A, and authentic Mexican food (living in California spoiled me lol).
